My Northern Charm

Welcome to my apartment

I’ve finally finished decorating my new apartment, and I’m excited to share the “grand” reveal of my little boho inspired space. As a 24 year old who is still in the early stages of her career, I wasn’t looking to spend a fortune. I also didn’t want to pack every room with unnecessary clutter, just for the sake of filling space. I tried to be mindful of my decisions along the way, and aim for really affordable apartment decor. With only one major meltdown on the books (we purchased, hauled, and assembled an entire couch before realizing it was actually a love seat) I think it was a relativity painless process overall.

Now, if you’re interested, here’s a bit of backstory:

I moved to Houston, from New Hampshire, in May but I stayed with family friends for the first few months while I settled into my new job and saved up some money. I didn’t bring any furniture or home decor with me to Houston, so when it came time to move into my own apartment, I had to start from scratch.

I’ve included links to everything, so if you see something you like just click on the purple arrow icon next to the item.

Kitchen

The circular tray arrangement was inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest, and I just applied my own personal twist to it by including the colorful blue utensil holder (click here for the inspiration photo)

The comforter is Tahari Home and I found it for $99 at TJ Maxx- but I wasn’t able to find the exact same one anyone online, so instead I’ve linked a similar, comparable style.

Here is a list of all the books and journals that I have displayed around my apartment.
